Main Research directions

1. Arabidopsis thaliana and foxtail millet are used as model plants to explore the

mechanism of plant nitrogen signal transduction under stress conditions, cultivate high nitrogen use efficiency foxtail millet varieties by molecular markers assisted breeding.

2. Arabidopsis thaliana and foxtail millet are used as model plants to explore the

mechanism of plant reproduction and development, cultivate high-quality, efficient and stable sterile lines for foxtail millet hybrid breeding.

3.Cultivate new foxtail millet varieties suitable for full mechanized production and explore the molecular mechanisms.
